New York-based Digital Right Brain (DRB) is making its iPad application SalonPOS and its web service Cloud Service free for customers.
SalonPOS, which debuted in 2011 and includes features such as booking appointments, recording payments, storing customer info, and pulling reports, will be free for download from 20 December 2013.
Alongside this, DRB's SalonPOS Cloud Service, with back-end management features and cloud storage, will be available for free, without the need to buy a monthly subscription.
Through Cloud Service SalonPOS users can store their data in the cloud and access and modify it on any device.
Designed to let owners leave their salon without having to lose sight of day-to-day business operations, it shows real-time data, such as the number of clients on site, scheduled appointments and sales reports.
